The firm, which was formally known as Jurunilai Sabah (Sabah Valuers) and established by Mr Quintin Edward Vyner in 1974. In November 1981, he left for Australia and the firm was taken over by Tan Sri Datuk Sri Panglima (Dr) Bernard Giluk Dompok until 1st October 1983, who later left the firm to join politics. In July 1984, Rayner Barnabas Longinus Molikun joined the firm as partner.
On 1st January 1995, the firm merged with JS Valuers (KL) Sdn Bhd in West Malaysia and was restructured and incorporated into a private limited company known as JS Valuers Property Consultants Sdn Bhd.
Since 1st January 2001, the group starts to expand its business coverage areas by setting up local entities in other states. Presently, the group comprises nine (9) private limited companies, which are responsible in overseeing the management of ten (10) offices sited throughout the country.
